The Fitch Lumber & Hardware Wood Shop is the place to go for custom or repair wood work at competitive prices.

Our talented woodworkers can provide the following services:

•  Cut plywood and lumber to various simple shapes and sizes.

•  Mill and dress lumber to be smooth on four sides (S4S), both for Fitch Lumber purchased material or customer supplied material.

•  Build custom screen doors using fir, cedar, or Accoya material.

•  Mill and dress lumber to create non-stock custom siding.  Profiles: Ship Lap, Nickel Gap, Beveled Lap, and Tongue & Groove.

•  Match new replacement door slabs to existing door slabs, such as mortising hinges, boring for handle-sets and locks, and trimming width/height.

Our Woodshop's machines: Table, Radial-Arm, Miter, and Band Saws, Drill Press, Mortising Press, 24" Planer, Joiner, 37" Wide-Belt Sander, Router, Shaper, Door Hanging Machine, plus a large variety of power and hand tools.

Wood Species in stock: Yellow Pine, Radiata Pine, Spruce, Cedar, Cypress, Fir, Poplar, Red and White Oak, Soft and Hard Maple, Cherry, Mahogany, Black Walnut, and Accoya (acetylated pine).
